St Patty's Day

How did we celebrate the luck of the Irish, you might ask.  As we settle into our life as a family of four, we came up with some new traditions, that didn't include the traditional green beer.

 We had some cute t-shirts for the kiddos...aren't they cute?
 

We did a fun volcanic activity for GB, which involved some baking soda, green glitter, and green tinted vinegar...  GB was certainly amused and entertained.  Even baby cakes was amused!  Of course, she is usually enthralled with anything her big brother does!
  

 





And, although I don't have any pictures of it, we also enjoyed a smoked, corned beef brisket. It was hubby's first attempt at using his new smoker and I think it turned out delicious!!

 All in all, a pretty good day!
